Alan is passionate about building lasting relationships to design a competitively priced insurance program for customers.
Alan grew up in Oswego, NY and is one of seven children. His father owned a local independent insurance agency and his mother taught kindergarten at a catholic school. After high school, Alan went on to college at St. Lawrence University in Canton where he majored in English Writing. After graduating in 1985 with his B.A., he began his insurance career as a commercial underwriter for the Travelers Insurance Company. For the next 16 years, Alan worked for several different insurance companies, but always concentrating on commercial insurance. In 2001, Alan joined Eastern Shore Associates working primarily with business owners to develop and implement an insurance and risk management strategy to control risk.
Alan, his wife Jamie and two adult daughters, have lived in Cicero, NY for 25 years. Alan is an avid woodworker and enjoys fishing, reading and golfing.
